Starry Night Retreat is the only multidisciplinary Artist In Residence program in Southern New Mexico.  Located halfway between Albuquerque, New Mexico and El Paso, Texas, Starry Night provides a nurturing environment to artists and researchers of all disciplines in the rural town of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico.

Applications are accepted at any time and are reviewed four times per year for durations of 2 weeks to 12 months.  There is no application fee.

Deadlines for quarterly review of applications are:
July 15th for session of October 1st – December 31st
October 15th for session of January 1st – March 31st
February 15th for session of April 1st – June 30th
May 15th for session of July 1st – September 30th

Applicants are notified within two weeks of the deadline date. Early consideration is available upon request and applicants can apply for a term lasting multiple months/sessions.

Artists are also encouraged to apply at other times, as we sometimes have last minute vacancies and cancellations.
