Based on merit and documented need, there is limited financial aid available in the form of work-study available for artists. Aid is available on a competitive basis with priority being given to applicants that apply two weeks before posted deadlines. Financial aid requests cannot exceed more than 50% of total residency fees.
Work study tasks involve 5-10 hours per week of gardening, maintaining the studio space, cleaning, and other general property maintenance tasks. Those with knowledge in the skilled trades (i.e. plumbing, electrical, construction, etc.) are encouraged to apply. We will do our best to suit your skill sets to tasks on site.
If you plan on applying for financial support, please submit a recent pay stub, estimated costs involved to attend this residency, and a basic list of your monthly income and expenses.
